For our Winter 2022 tour, we decided to venture out a little further and go international.
In February we celebrated Black History Month with a trip to Bronzeville a historic neighborhood in Chicago, learning all about the Great Migration, the inspiration behind Janet's scarf pattern. The yarn by Chicago dyer Sister Ananse, was inspired by a mural in Bronzeville.
In March we traveled north to Quebec City in Canada, where Sarah incorporated the Fleur de Lis in her design.
In April we finished our tour of the Americas in Montevideo, Uruguay. Cadence worked with Fair Trade Manos del Uruguay to inspire her shawl.
